The Edmonton-hosted showcase ran long and delivered more than its share of highlights, from a survey game to a co-operative roguelike about repairing bridges.

This year's Prairie Indie Showcase, hosted in Edmonton, ran nearly three hours and delivered a stronger slate than its size would suggest. Six titles left our desk with notes: a surveying game set on a single mountain, a co-operative roguelike about repairing bridges under time pressure, and a hand-animated detective adventure among them.

Most are targeting windows within the next eighteen months, and four have demos available now. We expect to cover at least two of them at length before the end of the year.
