The publisher will no longer require outlets to agree to review terms before receiving a build, following months of criticism.
Meridian North has ended the policy of requiring outlets to agree to review conditions before receiving access to a build. Under the previous arrangement, publications had to commit to embargo terms without knowing what they covered, a practice widely criticised across the industry.
The publisher framed the change as a simplification. Several outlets, including this one, had declined builds under the old terms; we will be requesting review access for Meridian North's autumn slate under the revised policy.
